The Committee on Traffic Organisation and Safety prepared and sent an opinion on the draft Ordinance on Road Signs published for public consultation.

It is the opinion of the Association that the draft of the new traffic sign ordinance should take into account the following circumstances:

• The design shall include all traffic signs used to organize traffic;
• the consistency of this ordinance with the new ordinance on temporary traffic organization should be ensured, in relation to which it should be defined which organization is temporary and what types it can be;
• to decide what is the content of the term “temporary change in the organization of traffic, for which the Ministry of the Interior has powers.
• the Ordinance shall be issued on the basis of a text from the Road Traffic Act and the terminology used shall be consistent with the law.

The proposal of the Association is to form a working group of experts, which should examine the affected problems in the legal framework and prepare proposals for changes in the Road Traffic Act, the Road Act and a new draft Ordinance on road signalization
