About us
The Bulgarian ITS Association /BITSA/ is an expert ITS Association in Bulgaria, part of the partner network of ITS Europe.
BITSA establishes the interoperability and continuity of ITS services. It also accelerates the integration of existing technologies to create new services.
Main objectives:
Encourages the cooperation with international ITS organizations
Provides support for planning and expert implementation of ITS solutions in Bulgaria
Promotes the best practices and implemented ITS solutions in Europe and worldwide
Support the improvement of the fuctionality of transport systems, increasing their efficiency and safetiness

ITS is the result of the deployment of information and communication technologies in transport. The digital revolution, in turn, has made it possible to collect data, process it and turn it into information. BITSA is a forum that brings together all stakeholders, putting technology at the service of smart mobility.
